Commercial fit out project

The Trafford Centre is one of the busiest shopping destinations in the UK, and it remained open to the public throughout the works. This meant the project had to be delivered safely, with public access maintained and the shopper experience protected at all times. Noisy works had to be carefully planned and coordinated to meet the shopping centre’s restrictions, while still keeping to a 22-week programme and a fixed opening date.

Careful planning was at the heart of the project. From the outset, our team worked closely with Uniqlo and the centre management team to agree working hours, delivery arrangements and the sequencing of noisy works. Clear, regular communication with the client and neighbouring tenants meant that issues were identified early and managed before they could affect the programme.

The project was completed on time, and the 15,000 sq ft store opened to the public in October 2026. Works were delivered safely, with minimal disruption to the centre and neighbouring businesses. The project demonstrates our ability to manage complex retail fit-outs within live environments, where programme, coordination and attention to detail are essential.
